The Darmstädter Jazzkalender is a digital overview of the jazz programs of the Darmstadt organizers. It is constantly supplemented and updated.

The most important venues for live jazz in Darmstadt are Centralstation, Bessunger Knabenschule, Jazzclub im Achteckigen Haus, die Ev. Stadtkirche and the Gewölbekeller unter dem Jazzinstitut. In addition, there are some organizers who regularly offer jazz concerts such as AGORA e.V. near the Ostbahnhof, vinocentral near the main station, HoffArt Theater or Jagdhofkeller.

Since 2018, most of these cultural organisations in Darmstadt have been hosting a joint festival in the first half of January, „dazz – Jazz Winter Darmstadt“. Also, the festival Darmstädter Jazz Herbst, which takes place every two years, has been held at the Besunger Knabenschule since 2004. The three-day-festival is organized by the Verein zur Förderung des zeitgenössischen Jazz in Darmstadt .
